With the recent election we thought it would be a great time to share some details about a special website we just launched. No matter what your political stance is, at the end of the day we are in America and that calls for a little celebration of our freedom, and our Red, White and Blue. For many of us we have seen friends, family and loved ones deploy to war in recent years, and saying “goodbye” to soldiers going overseas has become a regular occurrence for many American families; but that’s what makes us appreciate the organizations in the country who work everyday to bring a little joy to the men and women representing us on the battlefield.
We first met Eileen shortly after 9/11, determined to make a difference for those heading to war, she had launched Flags Across the Nation, a non-profit organization dedicated to sending homemade blankets, pillow cases and letters to the troops. We quickly realized she was in need of a strong web presence and so we developed her first website. Spring forward to 2012, the organization is thriving and to date has sent hundreds of letters, blankets and pillow cases to our US Soldiers. It brings us great excitement to share with you the recent launch of the NEW and improved FLAGS Across The Nation website. As the organization has grown, so has it’s web needs. The new website now features a Hashtag Twitter gallery where you can “tweet” a patriotic picture, the ability to donate at different levels through PayPal, as well as numerous places to participate in the website as a family, with kid friendly coloring pages and an array of other items.
FLAGS worked with My Studio Space Web Design to create an overall new look for the organization. We worked with them to create a new logo and new website design that was inviting and captured the essence of the non-profit. The new website was built 100% in WordPress and is completely manageable by Eileen and FLAGS. Content and pictures can be updated on a regular basis and we think the design came out pretty cute too! Check out the site, and if you feel inspired, get involved with the organization, it’s great for kids too!
If you are involved with a non-profit and need a reliable web company, don’t hesitate to contact us! We love non-profits!

When Kevin Manning needed a new website he came to My Studio Space Custom Web Design.
A long time resident of Florida, Kevin, has been creating artwork since his youth. After exploring many mediums, he has found his favorites to be carbon charcoal pencil drawings and ceramics, particularly the Raku process.
When his website needed an update Kevin came to My Studio Space for a new modern layout that would capture the essence of his work but not distract from it. My Studio Space worked with him to create an up-to-date website using the WordPress platform so he can manage it 100% on his own, and continue to update the site with his incredible work.
Kevin’s original site was cutting edge. But as time moves forward things change, especially web standards. Here are a few images from Kevin’s old website that served him well for the past ten plus years…
Thanks for choosing My Studio Space Kevin, we hope you love your new website! You can keep up with Kevin on Twitter by following @kmanningartist

My Studio Space is pleased to share a recently completed WordPress website for Manfred Design, Inc., a local Arizona based small business specializing in sculptural and architectural metalwork. Manfred Design came to My Studio Space for a fresh update to their existing website. With the previous site housed in Flash, the website could not be found by search engines, or be viewed on mobile devices, and it was hard to manage. My Studio Space created a search engine friendly WordPress website that is now managed 100% by Manfred Design, and can be viewed on mobile devices. Success!

Suriya Soonthornnon came to us with a set idea in mind. He knew he wanted and Search Engine friendly website that reflected the unique style and atmosphere of his new salon. His website also needed a blog to create community and a staff page to profile the memebers of his team as they join.
WordPress as a CMS was an obvious choice, as creating an ‘easy to update site’ was also a top prioity. The end result, a clean modern salon site that was easy to find right out of the gate.
Suriya Hair Design continues to get compliments.
Dunn Soto Law, Insurance Recovery for Policy Holders, needed a professional site the accurately represented the practice. Prominent display of the logo and company colors throughout the site were a basic and important requirement.
Another specific request was the addition of WordPress as a CMS. And to meet this lawyers needs we modified that default settings so that the blog Categories are displayed above the Post Name.
This site is simple, clean, and straight to the point.
When Advanced Vein Center came to us they were using a canned site provided by a medical website company. And there were a few serious issues:
- All the sites provided by this co. used the same copy which can really hurt search placement.
- Nothing was owned by AVC so if they ever decided to leave, images and content were not theirs to take away. The entire site was copyright the web design co.
- And the site was challenging to manage as they had to reply on a tech team to make changes for them.
The new site features custom, search engine optimized content, an easy to manage image rotator, with editable content and images, a blog for easy sharing and better search placement, something else the original site was missing. We added social media links and icons and the entire site is powered with WordPress as a CMS.
Pilar Placone, PhD. of Mindful Parent Happy Child requested a professional web site design that appealed to parents and families. We accomplished this with a colorful and clean presentation that utilizes multiple image rotators to show off many happy smiling faces.
Clothey and Sons Gun Smithing, a.k.a. the San Diego Gun Doctors , needed a new site and they needed “done right and done right quick.” With little to go on, we created an attractive interface which sports their audio commercial on the home page. Clothey and Sons also asked us to write the copy for their site, set up their social networks and get the ball rolling. Looking for a friendly group of gun smiths that smile a lot? We found em!
Clothey & Sons Gunsmithing
Crystal Maes came up with her own website design. And the inspiration for her gallery was based on a Flash gallery. So for Crystal we created a custom gallery interface that is completely manageable from within WordPress. No Flash required.
Dale Konow approached us with a serious deadline and a vision. The design of the website, also included the development of their logo. But within a matter a weeks we were able to create a site that resonated with Dale’s ideals. The header on select pages displays a custom image slider with search-able text and the show room offers numerous galleries, one for each piece of art.
If you love Mesquite the way we do, you’ll enjoy Dale’s custom woodwork.
